Alexandra N. Cohen
Alexandra Cohen is the founder of ANC Consult, a strategic fundraising consultancy that helps nonprofits build stronger, more sustainable approaches to institutional funding.
Alexandra works with Executive Directors, Development Directors and nonprofit boards to assess funding strategy, identify untapped opportunities, strengthen organizational positioning, and turn fundraising priorities into action. Her work spans institutional funding strategy, foundation and corporate grants, corporate sponsorships and partnerships, and fundraising capacity building.
A former attorney with more than 15 years of experience advising clients and navigating complex challenges, Alexandra brings a strategic, analytical approach to fundraising. She is particularly skilled at helping organizations step back from the constant pressure to pursue the next opportunity and instead determine where their strongest funding potential lies — and how to pursue it effectively.
Alexandra holds an MBA in Global Impact Management and an MA in International Policy and Development from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, a JD from Hofstra University, and a BA in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
Through ANC Consult, Alexandra serves as both strategist and implementation partner, bringing the outside perspective and experienced capacity nonprofit leaders need to move ambitious fundraising goals forward.
